I. Introduction of Neopor EPS of structural insulated panels:
BASF Neopor EPS is a graphite polystyrene rigid foam insulation which is comprised of many small pockets of air within a polymer matrix containing graphite, this gives Neopor foam a distinct silver-grey color.
The graphite reflects radiant heat energy like a mirror, increasing the material's resistance to the flow of heat, or R-value. Unlike most other polymer-based foams that block the exchange of heat better with increasing outdoor temperature, Neopor EPS powers up its thermal resistance as the outdoor temperature falls and boosts its insulating performance up to 20% above conventional EPS.
